My bio
Hi all,
My name is Hanh Dinh. When I came to the USA, my first English language teacher called me "Mary", so I kept that name with me since then. I started to learn English when I was ten. I am currently a fourth-year doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction Program (School of Education), and my research interests are bilingualism and English Language Teaching Methodologies (TESOL). I earned my master's degree in TESOL in Kentucky, USA. I taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to high school and university students before coming to the States. After graduating from my MA program, I worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in New York City. Hence, I hope to share with my teaching experience with you from both the EFL and ESL perspectives. I also have the honor to work with Dr. Kecskes in the Practicum class where we prepare students for passing the state teaching certification exams. Therefore, I hope that if you choose to become a certified English language teacher (or working abroad with EFL students), you can greatly benefit from this class. Let me know if I can be further assistance to you and personalize learning throughout the course for you.
